February 14, 1997 Wendy, I'm not very good with poems and stuff, but here's what I want to say to you on this Valentine's day. I have found such a precious gem in you. A diamond really. I never thought a woman could be as great as you are. My impression was that I would have to compromise something, settle. That's before I knew you. You are everything I've been praying for. I love the way you are caring, warm, beautiful, sensitive, honest, loving, sincere, friendly, kind, happy and uplifting. I never, for a million years, thought someone could be perfect for me. But I think you are. I never believed that a relationship could be as fulfilling as ours. My impression was that it had to be hard work, difficult, with some good times. By my relationship with you is so loving, enjoyable, exciting, fun, and, well, quite simply, great. And I know that we may encounter some problems in the future, but I trust that with God's help, we can overcome anything together. I can't express how excited I am for our future. We go good together, and we can have the best times of our lives together. I'm sorry if all this is too overwhelming right now, but I am just keeping our lines of communication open. I just wanted to tell you how I feel. I don't know what the future holds, but lets trust the Lord. He has taken care of us all of our lives, and He knows what is best for us. The following passage is from a song, and I think of you every time I hear it: "When two people make a stand together, on the solid rock of trust, they can be a million miles from each other, but still be side by side in love. I wanna love you like that forever." Love, Jeff
